Services and Pricing

£29.50 – Kids Bike (up to 20″ wheels) Service

Full safety inspection to ensure all parts are free from defect. Gears and brakes adjusted. Every fixing checked for correct tightness. Tyre pressures checked and corrected if needed. Chain lubricated.

£40 – Basic Service

£65–General Service

Includes all the prior plus, wheels are trued, hubs are checked for play and adjusted if needed. Headset and bottom bracket are checked for play and adjusted if applicable. Derailleur Hanger checked and adjusted for correct alignment.

£115 – Full Service (excluding Full Suspension)

Includes all the prior plus full strip and re-grease of the entire bike. All bearings and hubs cleaned, inspected and packed with fresh grease, wheels trued, suspension seals inspected, cleaned and lubricated, suspension set to recommended or desired pressure. Bike will be cleaned and come back running like new.

£125 – Full Service for Full Suspension Mountain Bikes

Includes all the prior plus rear suspension seals inspected, cleaned and lubricated, suspension set to recommended or desired pressure. Bike will be cleaned and come back running like new.

If any parts are required the costs will be agreed with you in advance.

I can collect and drop your bike for servicing, costs are £5 plus £0.55 per mile for each round trip, for up to 5 miles from the workshop. Please call for a quote if you are further away.

£15 – Puncture Repair
If a new inner tube is required this will be extra cost. If the puncture is on a hub gear wheel or rear wheel powered E-bike, there will be a surcharge for wheel removal and refitting.

£20.00 – Brake Service and alignment (All brakes Types)
The brake pads, discs and rims are checked for excessive wear. Brakes will be centred and aligned to ensure optimum efficiency and safety of your brakes. Surfaces will be decontaminated using alcohol based cleaning products to provide maximum stopping power.

£27.50 – Gear Service
Includes clean, degrease and re-lubrication of chain and sprockets. Chain, sprockets and derailleurs checked for excessive wear and advised if necessary. Adjustments made and set up to perfect running standards.

£20 – Brake Bleed or £35 for both

Brake lines will be flushed through with fresh oil removing any unwanted air bubbles and or dirt particles. Surfaces will be decontaminated using alcohol-based products to ensure maximum performance. Brakes will be subsequently realigned and centred to ensure they are running free.

From £15 – Wheel True/Tension

Spokes are adjusted and tensioned to ensure correct dishing and truing of the rim.

From £10 – Any other service not listed
